This washstand was bought in Adelaide in South Australia in the 1970's and is believed to be early Australiana.

Tile backed Washstand
The decorative carvings on the wooden back section, form an intricate lace pattern.
It has 12 green Majolica Pottery tiles on the backboard.

One tile is
cracked.
The marble is in three distinct pieces, having been dropped in transit, but could be repaired, as there are sufficient  loose pieces to be used as filler.
In addition, there is a large chip from the front right hand side.
