Prudence Keys is a well known Tasmanian artist.
Provinence:
Date of production: unknown - thought to have been completed in the early 1970's
This painting was submitted to the Tasmanian Art Gallery and was bought by Tioxide Australia Pty Ltd (head office then at Burnie, northern Tasmania) to add to its collection of Tasmanian art, sometime in the 1970's.
Over the period 1997-1999, the factory was closed down and all assets, including the art collection, were sold.
I purchased this painting in 1999.
It is now offered for auction.
